About Us

About Us

Originally established in Baltimore, Maryland, Triax, Inc is a Veteran owned and operated small community redevelopment business with over a decade of community development experience.  We continue to combat community deterioration and urban decay through remedial action to eliminate their physical and economic cause and to lessen the burdens of government by planning deterioration prevention.
Motivation

Our goal is to acquire and redevelop blighted property to enhance the character of the surrounding neighborhood while promoting neighborhood stabilization creating a greater quality of life for individuals and families.

Our purpose is to increase home ownership, support community development and increase access to affordable housing while at the same time addressing the challenges of the minority wealth gap that is rising due to lack of minority home equity.

Our business model is designed to strategically redevelop vacant properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, creating a process that will allow us to take advantage of inclusionary housing planning to leverage investment.

Our affordable housing development model uses a strategic phased approach of acquiring properties, returning them to productive use, reducing blight, increasing property values, supporting community goals and improving the quality of life for community residents.

Through acquisition, demolition and renovation of blighted properties in the region, We uses a three-phased approach with a five-tiered financial management process to:

• Create plans that provides direction and focus
• Identifying economic crisis rooted in our housing market
• Expose the dramatic gap between wages and housing prices
• Reveal the mismatch between where people live and where jobs are located
